History

First Eastern Group of Companies has started its activities in Ukraine early 1992 with the co foundation of First Ukrainian International Bank. In 1998 First Eastern founded the operational car leasing company First Lease ltd that operated under the Hertz franchise for car leasing and car rental. Since 1994 First Eastern is also active in the Republic of Kazakhstan with investment support in ventures that are active in the financial markets (ATF Bank). These activities continue still today and have developed into large institutions. Russiais the third country where First Eastern is active and since 2003 investments have been made in the operational car leasing (ALD International/ Société Généralegroup) and in equipment leasing. Also here the investments are made with Western companies and strong local management. Furthermore First Eastern has interest in several countries in Western Europe.

What we are now

First Eastern is concentrating on products and activities where specialized knowledge is essential and will continue to do this. The products are financially driven and are very sensitive to service and logistics. The products are mainly corporate oriented but also serve individuals.

Hertz

First Eastern owns the franchisees of Hertz in Ukraine and herewith represents one of the major brand names and service organizations in the world. Hertz is the largest car rental organization worldwide and the largest equipment rental organization in the United States of America.

Our companies are committed to long term presence in our markets and treasure the domestic values of the countries we are present.

Future

In the coming years we will further build on what we have created. We will expand our services and activities following our commitment. We will continue to establish our brand names which should be a continuous guarantee for quality and service. First Eastern will be open to partnerships with western companies and domestic companies, provided there is a clear and strong added value in the creation of the partnership.
